BEHIND THE PRODUCT: SUMMER 2020
We’ve had this collection ready to go since March, but then, well you know ☄️🌏🥴… We had to pivot and figure out how to produce these styles safely, as our regular production continues to be halted, but we’re thrilled we can finally put this latest collection out there.

TRADITIONAL, MEET MODERN
Our design philosophy is to always pair the traditional - timeless, wooden clog soles - with the unexpected - PVC, embroidery and now, luxe leather, appliquéd uppers.
Remaining true to this philosophy, we wanted to develop a collection that was ultra-wearable but with a design twist that would make these styles stand out from the clog pack.
A BLANK CANVAS
Through appliqué, the simple geometric shapes used were inspired by midcentury modern design, we took a universally flattering palette of neutral pale and warm tan tones, cool yellow and blue & contrasted them with accents of warmer yellow and melon.
We wanted a pop that is both subtle and statement to juxtapose against the comfort of a traditional leather clog base.
SOURCING
We went on a journey to source just the right leather - much like our PVC, it had to be strong but not tough nor uncomfortable against the skin.
We went a few rounds of samples to ensure the leather would brake in just right and not become too loose or remain to snug with wear.
These are comfy and sturdy. We chose these vegetable tan leathers carefully so they will form to your foot over time and patina perfectly with wear.
